THE SOCIAL GOLFER

We all know golf in Australia has changed dramatically with less than 35% of all golfers now club members, which means more than 65% of golfers (800,000 + people) are non-club members (green-fee players).

Social golf clubs and social golfers around Australia have been supporting the golf industry for the last 80 years. Manufacturers, golf clubs, suppliers and the tourism industry are indebted to over a million social golfers who play golf regularly every year.

Inside Social Golf's readership are predominantly male golfers with research showing this market playing up to four times per month on different golf courses each time. Also over the past five years we are noticing a huge increase in female social golfers. The combined majority of these golfers are associated with Pubs, Taverns, RSL Clubs, Leagues Clubs, private corporations, businesses and selected sporting clubs throughout Australia.
